Last year we wrote a post featuring some of our favorite Shopify apps. A lot has changed in the past year in the world of Digital Marketing and even more has changed for Shopify. We felt it was time for an update to our list of go-to apps to download.
Structured Data with JSON-LD For SEO
We describe Structured Data as highlighting the important information on your site for search engines to read. This includes information like price, product reviews, company name, logo, social profiles, and more. JSON-LD is Google’spreferredd markup method and JSON-LD for SEO is our prefered Shopify App to make that happen for your store. Learn more.
Google AMP page for your store with FireAMP
Accelerate Mobile Pages (AMP) is a program that was started by Google to improve load speed for mobile users. Google continues to place a higher and higher emphasis on AMP pages by rewarding brands that use them with higher SERP rankings and SERP features. This plugin will work with most pages on your Shopify store including product pages and blog posts. Learn more.
Manage product feeds with DataFeedWatch
Selling on multiple channels? Need a product data feed for your Facebook Catalog, Google Merchant Center, or even Google Manufacturer Center? DataFeedWatch has a crazy amount of feeds you can use. We first started working with them about four years ago and recently came back to the program which makes us wonder why we ever left. Learn more.
We often joke that product reviews make the eCommerce world go round. Shopify’s Product Reviews plugin works well, incorporates structured data, and is free! The downside? It doesn’t send out product review requests, that’s where Stamped.io’s addon comes in. Free for users with under 50 product review requests a month, this plugin will ensure that you are getting those all-important reviews coming through your door. Learn more.
Recurring Orders with ReCharge
Are your customers looking to buy your product on a recurring or monthly basis? This app is one of our favorite subscription services simply because it is easy to use. Customers never leave your site to make a purchase and once they subscribe, they simply log into their account on your store to update billing, change delivery times, or cancel their orders. Simple to set up and customer friendly, a win-win. Learn more.
What are some of your favorite apps? What apps do you wish Shopify had but you’ve not been able to find yet? Leave a comment and let us know.
